This project consisted of a new 2,500sqm integrated research building which provides the infrastructure to support the expansion of two priority areas of research at the Institute, combining the Information Communication Technology (ICT) research of the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group (TSSG) and Eco-Innovation Research Centre (EIRC). F&M Whelan were involved in the supply manufacture and erection of 60 tonnes of structural steel for the roof as well as roof plant steel, open grid flooring and 50 meters of metal decking.
